GAVIN Williams has teamed up with his old boss Gary Johnson after he joined Bristol City for an undisclosed fee today.
The 27-year-old midfielder passed a medical this morning and has signed a two-year contract at Ashton Gate after making the move from Ipswich Town.
Williams played under Johnson at Yeovil, before he earned a £250,000 move to West Ham United.
After failing to break into the first team at Upton Park, he joined Ipswich on loan before making the move permanent in January 2006 in a £300,000 deal.
Meanwhile, Bristol Rovers are believed to be on the brink of signing Swansea City striker Darryl Duffy for £100,000.
